Saga Corporate Finance has advised the owners of Emisoft on the sale to Aider, a leading provider of accounting and other business process outsourcing (BPO) services in Norway. Aider is majority owned by the European private equity fund Castik Capital.

Established in 1992, Emisoft has over 30 years of experience in advanced emission calculations and is a true pioneer in its industry. The company has developed proprietary software solutions for sustainability reporting, Emisoft 7 and GHG123, offered alongside expert advisory services as an integral part of its platform. With rising demand for sustainability and climate accounting, fueled by an expanding set of ESG-related requirements and standards both nationally and internationally, Emisoft is well positioned to capture strong growth opportunities in partnership with Aider.

As part of Aider, Emisoft will gain access to a broad competency base and powerful tools. Aider has completed 54 acquisitions over the past two years and is pursuing a clear ambition to become a leading Nordic player. The acquisition of Emisoft marks an important step in strengthening Aider’s ESG capabilities.
