Saga Corporate Finance is pleased to have assisted the owner of Ansnes Entreprenør in the sale to PineRock Group, a Swedish Renovation, Maintenance, and Improvement (“RMI”) building service provider. PineRock is majority owned by EMK Capital, a London-based private equity fund.

Founded in 1993, Ansnes Entreprenør has become a leading player with specialist competency in the fields of rehabilitation and restoration of heritage and listed buildings. Located with headquarters in Hvalstad (Asker) and 47 employees, Ansnes Entreprenør serves both public and private customers in the greater Oslo region. Previous projects include restoration of the historical Trosterud Gård, Østre Aker Kirke, and NMBU.

Ansnes Entreprenør marks PineRock’s first investment in Norway, an important step towards its goal of becoming a leading RMI player in the Nordics. The group is already present in both Sweden and Finland with ambitions to further expand. As part of PineRock, Ansnes Entreprenør will gain access to a broader Nordic network and professional support, while retaining its unique culture and identity under its already strong brand.
