Saga Corporate Finance has advised the owners of Intermec AS on the sale to Opima – a Swedish industrial group, backed by Celero Capital.
For more than 30 years, Intermec has been a preferred CNC-machining company offering contract manufacturing services of high-alloy steel components. Based in Askøy, Norway, Intermec caters to clients in subsea O&G and other industries demanding the highest standards of quality, precision, and customer service.
Opima is a private equity-owned industrial group comprised of 11 entrepreneur-led businesses, each with local industrial expertise. Intermec marks the group’s first Norwegian company, a step towards its goal of becoming the leading local partner for the manufacturing industry in the Nordics.
